Football Matchday Information
The Star Football Academy events page helps parents follow their child’s upcoming football activities. It displays player call-ups for friendly matches, academy festivals, internal competitions, development league fixtures, cup events and selected overseas football trips.
Call-up details: Each call-up contains the information your family needs for matchday. You can check the opposition, fixture date, kick-off time, arrival time and pitch location before confirming your child’s availability.
Call-ups are issued according to the relevant squad, age group and level. Players may therefore receive different invitations. When no fixture is shown, there may be no current call-up for your child.

Follow Weekly Fixtures
Football schedules can develop from week to week. League players may receive a separate availability request for every match, even when they normally play each weekend.
Preferred method: The Star Academy app gives parents one place to review the match information and reply to the call-up.
Check the following details before matchday:
- Competition or league name
- Opposing club or academy
- Fixture date
- Kick-off and arrival times
- Pitch, school or stadium location
- Squad or team information
- Matchday notes from the coach
Help the Coach Prepare
Accepting a call-up tells the coach that your child is available for selection. A prompt reply supports squad planning, positions, substitutions and playing-time arrangements.
When your child cannot attend, use the unavailable link attached to the call-up. Give the reason when requested so the coach has a clear record of the absence.
Important: Please reply to every match request. Do not assume that a previous confirmation covers the next fixture.
Be Prepared for Next Match
Install the Star Academy app and allow event notifications. Parents can then receive new football call-ups, check matchday information and confirm availability each week.
