At Star Football Academy, we pride ourselves on supporting children in developing their skills and understanding of the game. We follow a Understand, Practice, and Apply model. This is where we provide our children with the information to help them understand how to develop and ensure they can practice these skills in training. However, we want to give children as many opportunities to apply these skills to real game scenarios as possible. We offer children the opportunity to play in our own Star League.

Being the League Co-ordinators of the Star League, we guarantee players can be suitably placed into a level that allows them to develop faster in an environment focused on enjoyment.

Our aim of the Star League is to give children the platform to apply their skills and excel, as well as offer more social opportunities with others who share their love for the game.

Inclusive Development for All:

Our league prides itself on fostering an inclusive environment that embraces players of all skill levels. The Developmental League serves as a foundation, instilling a love for the sport and essential skills in players aged 5 to 18. We focus on teaching the fundamentals of football, including dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork, while nurturing self-confidence and passion for the game.

Advancement through Advanced Teams:

For players aged 9 to 11, our Intermediate League offers the opportunity to take their skills to the next level. By joining our Advanced Teams, players aged 6 to 18 experience a more competitive environment. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, they receive specialized training, allowing them to refine their abilities and participate in locally and regionally higher-level competitions.

Selecting Talented Players:

Our Selecting Teams are reserved for the most talented and committed players between 8 and 18. Selection is based on skill level, work ethic, attitude, and team spirit. Being part of a Selecting Team represents a significant milestone in a player’s football journey, providing access to top-tier competitions and potential pathways to higher levels of the sport.
