The following terms and conditions (these “Terms of Use” or “Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://www.starfootballacademy.com/ (the “Site”), including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the Site by Shooting Star Sports Services LLC (the “Star Football Academy” “Academy” “we” “us”).

Please read the Terms of Use carefully before using the Site. By using the Site, opening an account, or by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms of Use when this option is made available to you, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, found page incorporated herein by reference. You must not access or use the Site if you do not want to agree to these Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy.

Use of the Site and Account Registration

YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER AND HAVE THE NECESSARY POWER AND AUTHORITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SITE OR ENTER INTO THESE TERMS. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 18 ARE PROHIBITED FROM USING THIS SITE, AND THEIR PARENTS MUST USE IT ON THEIR BEHALF AND GIVE THEIR CONSENT.

Star Football Academy makes no representation or warranty that the Content, regardless of its source, is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Content provided on the Site and in or related to the Service is subject to change.

Users of all ages are welcome to browse the Website. After Registration is accepted, an Account will be set up for the member with a valid username and password.  By establishing an account, you represent and warrant you have the right and are authorized to provide the information you provide when you register for the account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password and restricting access to such information and your computer. All activities that occur under your account or password shall be your responsibility.

Access by unauthorized persons and unauthorized use or disclosure of Star Football Academy information may be a violation and are strictly prohibited. Star Football Academy may refuse, delete, modify, edit, or remove any Submissions for any reason. It may terminate your access to the Website or your account at any time for violation of these terms of use or any other reason.

TRANSPORTATION RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

By signing up for the Star Football Academy under the Shooting Star Sports Services LLC license, I acknowledge that my child may be transported to and from various events and activities related to their participation in the Academy’s football program. I agree to release the Star Football Academy, its coaches, employees, agents, and affiliates from any liability for any injuries, damages, losses, or other harm that may occur before, during, or after the bus trip.

I understand and agree that my child’s use of the transportation provided by the Academy is entirely at my own risk. The Star Football Academy will not be responsible for any damage or accident that may occur before, during, or after the bus trip.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Star Football Academy, its coaches, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses that may arise from my child’s use of the transportation provided by the Academy.

By participating in the football tournament, parents and guardians at this moment acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding the capture of photos and videos of their children:

  1. Consent for Photography and Videography:
    • Parents and guardians grant permission for the training, tournament organizers, fellow parents, and spectators to capture photographs and videos of their children during the tournament.
  2. Intended Use of Media:
    • The captured media may be used for promotional and informational purposes related to the tournament, including but not limited to social media, official websites, and marketing materials.
  3. Release of Liability:
    • Parents and guardians release the tournament organizers, their representatives, and any third parties involved in organizing the event from any liability arising from the use or distribution of the captured photographs and videos.
  4. Respecting Privacy Wishes:
    • Parents who do not wish to have their child photographed or videotaped during the training or tournament are responsible for notifying the organizers and making appropriate arrangements.
  5. Non-Participation of Non-Consenting Parents:
    • Parents who do not agree with the photography and videography policy should refrain from participating in the tournament, and their children should not be registered for the event.
  6. Notification Responsibility:
    • Parents who disagree with the photography and videography policy must communicate their objections to the tournament organizers in writing before the event.
  7. Enforcement of Policy:
    • Tournament organizers reserve the right to enforce this policy and may take appropriate action, including restricting access to specific areas or disqualification from the tournament for non-compliance.
  8. Assumption of Risk:
    • Parents and guardians understand and acknowledge that despite reasonable efforts to respect privacy wishes, capturing media during a public event may be incidental, and they assume any associated risks.

Parents and guardians affirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this liability disclaimer by participating in the football tournament or training sessions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in withdrawing participation from the tournament without a refund.

Enrollment

Enrollment will be completed once the following have been submitted online:

  1.  Completed registration form that includes agreeing to accept the terms and conditions.
  2.  Payment of a registration fee using the registration form.
  3. Payment for the relevant term/season using the form online.

Admission to particular sessions will be subject to the available places at the requested training location.

Uniform Policy

At the start of every academic year in September, all students are required to wear the new season uniform. This ensures consistency and alignment with the academy’s standards.

We kindly ask parents to ensure their child has the new season uniform ready before the first session in September.

Purchases

Minors under 18 are prohibited from registering as a User of this website and are not allowed to transact or use the website.

If you pay for our products or services on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secured connection.

The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records, Merchant policies, and rules.

We accept payments online using Visa and Master Card credit/debit cards in AED.

Refusal of Service

The Service is offered subject to our acceptance of your order or request for Service. We reserve the right to refuse service to any order, person, or entity without any obligation to explain our reason. An order is not deemed accepted by us until payment has been processed. We may change or discontinue any aspect or feature of the Site or Service at any time, subject to us fulfilling our previous responsibilities to you based on acceptance of your payment. If we choose to refuse your order after payment has been processed, we will not refund your money.

Make-up Sessions

Terms and Conditions for Make-Up Classes

At our academy, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of coaching across all venues. While consistent attendance is essential for your child’s progress, we recognize that absences may occasionally occur. To address these situations, we offer make-up classes under the following terms and conditions:

1. Make-Up Class Deadline

•Make-up classes must be completed by the due date of the current invoice.

•Unused make-up classes will not be carried forward to the next term.

2. Notification of Absence

•Parents/guardians must notify the academy of their child’s absence by 2:00 PM on the day of the scheduled class.

3. Medical Absences

•For absences due to illness, a valid medical certificate must be submitted using the designated form provided by the academy.

4 . Absences Due to Travel

•For travel-related absences, parents/guardians must provide a copy of the plane ticket along with the make-up class request.

5. Alternative Session Availability

•The academy will try to schedule a make-up class within the same week or at an alternative location, subject to availability.

6. Approval of Make-Up Sessions

•All make-up sessions are subject to the academy’s approval and depend on class availability and capacity.

7 . Public Holidays, Weather, and Natural Disruptions

•Classes missed due to public holidays, inclement weather, or natural disruptions (e.g., rain, storms, extreme heat) are considered beyond the academy’s control.

•Make-up sessions will not be offered for these absences as operational costs remain fixed, including venue rentals and staff wages. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.

8. Freeze Policy

•Each student is entitled to a maximum of two freeze periods during the academic year for travel-related absences.

•Freeze requests must be submitted in advance and are subject to the academy’s approval.

•For medical emergencies, free requests may be made directly after the illness or incident on the same day or the next day, provided appropriate documentation (e.g., medical certificate) is submitted.

9 A bank charge of 3% will be deducted for approved refunds at the academy’s discretion if payments were made by credit card.

Cancellations & Refunds

The payment for the course is not refundable unless the organizer cancels the entire course. No Makeup sessions or refunds will be offered for missed training sessions. No refund for cancellations due to public holidays, inclement weather, or natural disruptions (e.g., rain, storms, extreme heat) are considered beyond the academy’s control.

General Terms

Star Football Academy can place players in the correct age and skill categories as the Academy coaches decide.

If a player needs to relocate from one venue to another needs to be discussed with the manager. If a place is available at the other venue, the request may be accommodated at the discretion of the manager of the Academy. This, however, cannot be guaranteed.

Star Football Academy has the right to change the dates of a term schedule, cancel a course, or change a venue that may be necessary.

The training sessions are closed sessions that only admit the players, the player’s family/guardians or identified friends. It is strictly prohibited that no video recording, pictures or photography is permitted during the training sessions.

The Star Football Academy materials, resources, and courses are the property of Shooting Star Sports Services LLC and are not to be distributed or disclosed for commercial purposes.

All training sessions and games will be conducted in English.

I also consent that my child/children be included in photographs that may be used for promotional purposes on flyers, newsletters, and the Star Football Academy website.

Restrictions on Usage

You agree to use the Site and to purchase Service through the Site for legitimate purposes expressly permitted by this Site. You may use the Site and Service for lawful purposes only. You agree to be financially responsible for all purchases made by you or someone acting on your behalf through the Site. You must not, without Star Football Academy’s express prior written consent, use this Site for any other purpose, including commercial purposes. You shall not broadcast or share through the Site any content that disregards or breaches the rights of others or which is aggressive, offensive, abusive, derogatory, defamatory, libelous, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, indecent, obscene, profane or otherwise objectionable, contains injurious formulas, recipes, or instructions, or which encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any law.

Entire Agreement; Waiver

These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and Star Football Academy about the Site and Service and supersede any prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings between us. No waiver of any of the provisions of this Star Football Academy shall be deemed or shall constitute a waiver of any other provision, whether or not similar, nor shall any waiver constitute a continuing waiver. No waiver shall be binding unless executed in writing by Star Football Academy.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by UAE law. Any disputes arising out of these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the UAE.

Star Football Academy and Shooting Star Sports Services LLC reserve the right to take legal action against anyone who undertakes any act that could be considered an infringement of the present terms and conditions.

I agree to the terms, conditions, and policies of the Star Football Academy operating under the Shooting Star Sports Services License LLC. If any portion of these Terms and Conditions becomes void, it will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. The void part will be replaced by provisions that are valid and have legal effect. This Site will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries by the law of UAE.

Severability

If any term, provision, covenant, or condition of these Terms is held by an arbitrator or court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms shall remain in full force and effect and shall in no way be affected, impaired, or invalidated.

Assignment

These Terms bind and inure to the benefit of the parties’ successors and assigns. These Terms are not assignable, delegable, sub-licenseable or otherwise transferable by you. Any transfer, assignment, delegation or sublicense by you is invalid.

Modification of Terms

We may at any time amend these Terms. Such amendments are effective immediately upon notice by us posting the new Terms on this Site. Any use of the Site or Service by you after being notified means you accept these amendments. We reserve the right to update any portion of our Site and Service, including these Terms, at any time.
